Forest spice
Ingredients
- 100g scots pine seeds
- 80g pine nuts
- 2g dried pine needles
- 2g catkins
- 10g stinging nettle salt
- 4g all spice
- 2g couch grass seeds
- 4g cane sugar
Equipment
- Coffee grinder or mortar.
Directions
- Toast pine seeds and nuts in a pan until fragrant. Let cool.
- Mix all the ingredients together and blend to a uniform spice mix.
Tips
This spice adds nice flavor to both salty and sweet dishes.
